Professional Newborn Photography Toronto – 6 Day Old Ella

I was so excited to meet 6 day old baby Ella and finally get her into my studio for her professional newborn photography Toronto session.  It felt like not too long ago I was photographing her gorgeous pregnant mama during her outdoor sunset maternity session at Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens in North York.

I wanted to share this darling image first. Her big brother was so gentle and so sweet towards her.  This is definitely one of my favourite images from her session.

Below is one of my favourite poses in general for newborns.  It is pure baby.  There are so many cute and trendy hats and props that can be incorporated in a newborn session, but I always start with simple.  This image is timeless.  Trends come and go but a simple and pure image like this will be treasured for many years to come.

I love taking these close up shots of baby’s face.  Newborns have the cutest noses and poutiest lips.

This little pixie hat adds some fun and a pop of colour in Ella’s image.  I have this hat in many colours, which is nice because it can be co-ordinated with baby’s room colour.  Mom chose a violet and white colour for Ella.

Baby safety is always first and foremost in my studio.  This image is a composite, and what you can’t see is that daddy’s finger is supporting baby’s head on one side.  

Mama is just stunning holding baby Ella.
She was so content and sleepy in her mama’s arms.So much love and happiness in this wonderful family.

I am so honoured to have been chosen to document some of the most important milestones in this family’s lives.  I truly do have the best clients and am grateful that  I get to do what I love everyday.
